Preserving Neely Henry Lake & Coosa River
To the NHLA, preservation means much more than some may know. As our mission statement reads, “To Preserve, Protect, and Improve Life on the Coosa”, taking action is where it happens.
Sometimes we’re organizing cleanup teams to remove trash and debris from our waterways and others it’s educating the public about what they can do to keep the water clean. We have also taken important lake quality preservation issues to the highest levels of local, county, state, and federal government.
In short, we go beyond the conversation. We, along with members and volunteers, create and execute a plan of action to ensure our beautiful lake and river resource is preserved for generations to come.
